HOW TO: AVOID FESTIVAL BURNOUT





Picture this: You're dancing in a field with friends, the sun is shining down on you, the music is lit, and you're having the time of your life.

But then, you're hangry, you're thirsty, your feet hurt. You have a sunburn. Omg. Where's the nearest bathroom?

It's an experience that so many new festival goers go through. Partying at a festival with your squad is by far one of the raddest experiences you'll ever have, but it won't be any fun if you burn out.

Luckily for you, we've got your back.

EAT
Festival food is beyond. Tacos, Pizza, Ice Cream, Pad Thai... drool. Even if you're hot, don't forget to eat. Otherwise you'll crash hard.

DRINK WATER
No, really. Drink water. Never run out of water. Carry your own water bottle, and refill it every chance you have.

LAYER UP
Believe it or not, it can chilly at night even if its hot during the day. If you're at Coachella, we suggest covering your face with a bandanna too. Because sand storms. And for goodness sake, wear practical footwear instead of open toe sandals.

WEAR SUNSCREEN
Slather on that SPF. While you're at it, wear a  hat and sunglasses too. In 40 degree heat, sun stroke is a very legit possibility, and it'll kill your vibe pretty fast.

PACE YOURSELF
You don't have to see every single act. Make note of your fave artists and what stages they're at, and then take time to rest in between. Enjoy the scenery, kick it with your gurls, even take a nap.

No matter what, you're gonna have a hella good time at any fest you head to this summer. Just make sure to take care of yourself and not burn out.
